Rom 8:2 "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death ".

Now that you've had the New Birth and you are now an adopted child of God, your soul is saved and sinless in God's eyes and is now subject to The Law Of Spirit and Life (Rom 8:2) . Being now a saved soul, Jesus gave us two commandments, to love God and the brethern. You are eternally secure as you are now STANDING on Jesus Christ the Rock. At the Rapture you will get the new glorified body that God has promised you, but until then you (your saved soul) still has to walk in your fleshly body that is subject to the Law Of Sin And Death (Rom 8:2) , so the sins you commit after the New Birth will affect your fleshly body, other people, and your fellowship with God. The 10 commandments and all the Old Testament Laws, Blessings and Curses are still in effect regarding the FLESH. This variable state that you are in is commonly referred to as the STATE of your fellowship with God.

Gal 6:7-9 "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption ; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting."

Rom 7:24-25 "O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord . So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God ; but with the flesh the law of sin".

1st Peter 3:21-22 "... by the resurrection of Jesus Christ : Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him ."

Rom 8:23 " But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members."

2 Peter 2:11 “Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul ;”

Rom 8:13 " For if ye live after the flesh , ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body , ye shall live."

2 Cor 10:2 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds ;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Eph 6:11-12 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Mark 16:17 "In my name shall they cast out devils ".

Col 3:9 " Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds ; And have put on the new man , which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:"

   

Rom 8:18 " For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not."

The Christian doesn't want to sin, so he feels bad after he sins. To put off the "old man" he needs first to confess his sins to his Heavenly father, even though he (his "old man") doesn't feel like it. By exercising the power of the will , by having the desire to please God, the Christian makes up his mind to do right regardless of the emotions from his Carnal mind.

The Christian is warring against Sin. To obtain victory he needs to be willing to go to battle and "put off the old man with his deeds" and then "put on the new man". If we try to put on the new man while not putting off the old man, we are then double minded .

James 4:8 " Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded ."

Col 2:18 "... vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind."

Being a Christian, you would do well to be "renewed in the spirit of your mind" (Eph 4:23), "transformed by the renewing of your mind" (Rom 12:2), "cast out devils" (Mark 16:17) , and do a daily cleanse "with the washing of the water by the word" (Eph 5:26).

Power


Matt 28:18 "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, "All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth."

Luke 4:36 "And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out ."

Luke 9:1 "Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases."

Luke 10:18 "And he said unto them, "I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you."

Jesus commanded us to cast out devils and Deliverance is casting out devils in Jesus Christ name. If you are a born again Christian, you can and should do it. It is with God's power, not our own power, that drives these devils out. The devils must obey their Creator. Since we are adopted SONS of God (Men and Women) and we are part of His body having the Holy Spirit of God and are spiritually seated in Heavenly places with Him Eph 2:6 "And hath raised us up together , and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus". We have the authority to use the Creators name, the Lord Jesus Christ, to cast out evil spirits.

Unfortunately, in this age most Christians wrestle NOT against any spiritual enemies.

Rom 7:20 "Now I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me,"

The word sin (above in Rom 7:20) is personified - it is a person (an evil spirit) trying to get dominion over you.

   

Evil spirits reside in the fleshly body (Carnal Mind) of saved people, and in the fleshly body and soul of lost people. In the fleshly body of the Christian is the "Old Man", and he has the Carnal Mind (Rom 8:6-7). The Carnal Mind is not subject to the law of God, but rather unto the law of Sin and Death, and it wars against the Christian's saved soul by battling for control of the fleshly body. The Carnal Mind, using it's mind, will, emotions and devils, will produce sinful thoughts and work to manipulate the brain (the control center) of the fleshly body. The fleshly body and brain are also being manipulated with thoughts produced by the mind, will and emotions of each devil, or evil spirit, which resides in his fleshly body, all adding to the collective power of the Carnal Mind. The Carnal Mind is separate and contrary to the believers saved soul and his mind, will and emotions. When being saved, God does not deliver the devils that are in the fleshly body, but rather God gets rid of the devils by cutting the body with it's devils free from the saved soul. After that it's up to us to cast them out of the flesh. Devils cannot enter the believers soul, but rather the devils are in the mind, will and emotions of the "Old Man" in the fleshly body. Deliverance involves casting the devils out of the mind, will and emotions of the Carnal Mind, and also devils that attack all the other areas of the body.

Matt 18:34 "And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors , till he should pay all that was due unto him."

Rom 7:18 "For I know, that in me (that is, in my flesh) dwelleth no good thing".

These un-confessed SINS are open doors to devils, and even though your Soul is saved, devils enter the flesh, as the flesh is still subject unto the Law of Sin and Death until death or rapture.

Rom 8:6-7 "For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be."


A Christian, having the Kingdom Of God within him (the Holy Spirit of God), uses Gods authority to cast out devils with the name of Gods son Jesus Christ, who was manifest to destroy the works of the Devil.

"But if I with the finger of God cast out devils , no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you." (Luke 11:20) .

We are joined to the Lord, one spirit ( 1 Cor 6:17 ), and seated in heavenly places with Him, and He is our head of the Body of Christ. Being seated with Him in Heavenly places, we are geographically located on the Earth, but at the same time also spiritually located with him in Heaven. The devils come out because we have the Holy Spirit and being adopted sons of God we use Gods name, power and authority.
Mark 16:17 "In my name shall they cast out devils".

Jesus commanded us to cast out devils, and Deliverance is casting out devils (demons, evil spirits) in Jesus name.

Luke 13:32 "And he said unto them, "Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected."

Paul said to the evil spirit: "I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out" (Acts 16:18).

Deliverance is not a GIFT, or merely a sign for the Jews (1 Cor. 1:22) “the Jews require a sign”, as it was with healing and tongues (1 Corinthians 14:22), as the casting out of devils was not addressed here by Paul, as were the gifts. These signs and gifts are used when God is dealing with UNBELIEVING Israel and Jews. “Wherefore tongues are for a sign....”. These signs are Apostolic signs (2 Cor. 12:12) “Truly the signs of an apostle...” : signs are Jewish signs given to Jewish apostles for UNBELIEVING Jews - not SAVED Christians. Jesus said that in (Mark 16-17) that one of the three signs that follow those who believe is the casting out of devils, as it did "make a show of them openly" to those who did not believe, as God knew that the casting out of devils showed a Jew that the Kingdom Of God was manifested in the Christian, "But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you." (Luke 11:20). Therefore, the casting out of devils goes beyond an apostolic sign of the time, and just as sure as Christians have a new birth, there is still the need to cast them out of the dead flesh. Deliverance is NOT a gift and Paul did not include it with the Gifts in 1st and 2nd Corinthians, but rather Paul addresses the on going battle with the carnal mind and personified Sin in Romans 7. The casting out of devils, or "Deliverance" as it is commonly referred to today is for Christians now in the Church Age, as it is not an outdated apostolic sign for only the Jews, and this difference is why the name of the Lord Jesus Christ still has the authority to cast out evil spirits. Devils are the Christians enemy, and we are commanded to war against them in the Spirit, not the flesh (Eph 6:12). "The closer you get God, the closer you get to the devil", which means that the more you do for God, the more the devils will work to stop you. Jesus does not want us to be a "punching bag" for evil spirits, so he told us to cast them out with His name and authority. Thank you Jesus! Devils are evil spirits. There are many different types of evil spirits. The Bible tells us there are different types of evil spirits including lying spirits, seducing spirits, familiar spirits, deaf and dumb spirits, and even infirmity spirits - devils that can cause pain and sickness: Luke 13:16 "And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?".

Demons Travel Invisible Along Frequencies and Relay Messages.

In books, television and movies, the big lie they promote is that a ghost is the spirit of a dead person. The Bible says differently about death, that when we die we either go up to Heaven and be with God, or go down to Hell. In the Bible "ghosts" are revealed as evil spirits. Ouija Boards and Seances bring in familiar spirits that trick and fool people into believing that spirit is the spirit of their dead relatives, as this is easily accomplished as now the evil spirit(s) can now enter into the "ritual participant" because of the sin, and now the curse, of the ritual of conjuring evil "dead" spirits. These familiar spirits really do know all about dead relatives as these spirits do not die, and they witnessed the events of the dead relatives, and so they are great impersonators. Occult experiences must be renounced and confessed as sin, even if it was done before salvation, as the cut-free body still is under the curse of sin.

Devils also torment, drive and harass, and slow down spiritual growth by constantly working to prevent the Christian from spreading the Gospel and doing Gods will. They produce thoughts and feelings and trick the person into thinking that the person himself actually produced the thought. They also work with other evil spirits in other people and with outside spirits (and the prince of the power of the air) to set up terrible situations. The prince of the power of the air works automatically in the children of disobedience (unsaved people), because their spiritual father is Satan. An unsaved persons body, or vessel, is the Temple Of The Un-Holy Ghost, which is the devils house, as we see in scripture with the unsaved person in Luke 11:25, the house being "swept and garnished", with no Holy Spirit in residence. Being unsaved with no Holy Spirit in the house, the evil spirit that dwelled there comes back with seven more wicked evil spirits, and they all take residence there. Thank God we, being Christians, have God's authority to throw them out of the house! It is like having Flies in the house that "bug" you - get rid of them! They are totally "unclean". Also, these devils are literally "the tormentors".

Houses and land that are haunted always have curses on them that must be broken by the authority of Jesus Christ. Accident prone spots along highways with wreaths commemorating loved ones that died in a car accident are prime examples. Where blood has been spilled and death has resulted, there will be devils there that will look to create more accidents with passers by that have the sin that the devils need to induce an accident. It is the same with haunted houses, they are haunted because some wicked sin has been committed there. These homes and highway spots need to be "cleansed" by the blood of Jesus. Deliverance from devils still has the same power and authority today as it was 2000 years ago, as we are still in the Church Age . These evil spirits are enemies that must be cast out.
