Spiritual Circumcision - Col 2:11

Unsaved people have sin in and on them, and have their souls stuck to their flesh. In the Old Testament when someone touched an unclean thing, not only their FLESH, but their SOUL had sinned (Lev 22:4-6). They had sin in their flesh and sin on their soul, as they were stuck together. They were required to have a blood sacrifice for their soul to be cleansed. Unsaved people today are like that. The devils that are in unsaved people are where the sin is - in their flesh and their soul, as the flesh and soul are joined. The unsaved people, without hope and without Christ, have no authority to get rid of the devils. No Jesus - no deliverance.

Lev 22:4-6 "What man soever of the seed of Aaron is a leper, or hath a running issue; he shall not eat of the holy things, until he be clean. And whoso toucheth any thing that is unclean by the dead, or a man whose seed goeth from him; Or whosoever toucheth any creeping thing, whereby he may be made unclean, or a man of whom he may take uncleanness, whatsoever uncleanness he hath; The soul which hath touched any such shall be unclean until even, and shall not eat of the holy things, unless he wash his flesh with water."

Watch Dr Ruckman literally "draw it out" for you in the video below as he teaches on the 3 part being - Body, Soul and Spirit, At the 36:30 minute mark he explains what happens when we get saved and also draws out spiritual circumcision with the "ice tray" example:

Confusing Old Testament salvation with New Testament salvation by NOT rightly dividing the word of truth:

Everyone in the Old Testament, including Old Testament Saints, had their Souls spiritually joined to their bodies, with their Souls sharing the sins of their Flesh. When their FLESH sinned, their SOUL also sinned as when touching an unclean thing Lev 22:4-6. This is also true with UNSAVED people now in the New Testament. However at the New Birth the Christians Spirit is quickened with new life, and the Christians Soul is saved and spiritually cut free from the dead flesh with it's sinful Carnal Mind and it's devils. He that is born of God cannot sin because His seed, the Holy Spirit, remaineth in him. The REAL YOU is your Soul. The "Old Man" is the fleshly body that was cut free. The UNSAVED have a live Soul and a dead spirit, and it is their SOULS (their consciousness, their "real you") that go to Hell. With Christians that have died already, it is their saved souls that are up in Heaven waiting for their new glorified body at the Rapture, and with we Christians here that are alive and remain, it is our SOULS that are saved from our new birth, we also now have a LIVE spirit that was given life by being quickened by the Holy Spirit at the new birth, (as Adam had before the fall) and we get a new glorified BODY at the Rapture.

The errors from confusing Old Testament salvation with New Testament salvation result when people believe that the Soul and body relationship of a Christian with the New Birth now in this New Testament Church Age, is the same as the Soul and body relationship of an Old Testament Saint with no New Birth. Hence they assume that the Soul of a born again Christians is NOT cut free from the sinful fleshly body as the Bible tells us clearly in Col 2:11. In addition to not rightly dividing the word, the belief as a general statement that the Soul is the "mind, will and emotions" further adds to this Bible doctrinal error. Yes, of course our saved Souls have a mind, will and emotions, but it not the only one that has them, as the sinful Carnal Mind also has a mind, will and emotions. The Bible tells us in Rom 8:6-7 that at the new birth our Soul is saved (with our mind, will and emotions), but we still have to contend with the Carnal Mind that is in our flesly body that wars against our Souls mind (read Romans chapter 7). The Carnal Mind is sinful, and "it is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God". The Carnal Mind is in the fleshly body, and it has it's own mind, will and emotions, and in it "dwelleth no good thing". Having this dual nature, the Christian can choose to be either spiritually minded or carnally minded Rom 8:13 . "To be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace". Various doctrinal errors result, such as the flesh still being spiritually stuck to Soul, the Soul not saved, demons in the Soul, a Christians Soul in this Church age being "knit" together to another persons Soul as in the Old Testament with Jonathan and David (1 Sam 18:1) , etc. These doctrinal errors contradict clear verses in the Bible, and they occur when taking Old Testament verses about the Soul and applying them NOW to a born again Christian.

Being "Knit Together" , or "Soul Tied"

Regarding Jonathan and David's Souls being knit together in the Old Testament (1 Sam 18:1) , the un-saved now in the New Testament are subject to the same knitting together as Jonathan and David were in the Old Testament, so therefore being knit together is also present in this age. In addition, with a Christian, the new birth does not remove the iniquities from the flesh, instead God chose to cut the saved Soul off from the sinful fleshly body, thus freeing the saved Soul from being "knit" to Sin, so that we (our Saved Souls), are now santified and set apart without spot or wrinkle as a glorious Bride (as we are His Church and His body) for the Lord Jesus Christ, our beloved Bridegroom, when He calls us up to Him saying "come up hither" and "well done thy good and faithful servant". Just as sin, curses and evil spirits are still in the dead circumcised fleshly body at the New Birth, so also the "Old Man" and his Carnal Mind are still also in the fleshly body. Therefore, the "Soul Ties", or "knit togethers" are still there in the fleshly Old Man. Regarding the Christian, the OLD MAN in the circumcised body still has it's "knit togethers". When being born again, the "operation of God" (Col 2:11-12) un-knits our Souls from being spiritually knit to our fleshly bodies, and also inversely knits our Soul to the Holy Spirit, as He that is joined to the Lord is one spirit ( 1st Cor 6:17). The coined phrase: "Soul Tie" is a misnomer when referring to a born again Christian, because after the new birth the only Soul Ties there are, are between the saved soul of the child of God and the Holy Spirit and to the souls of other Christians in the Body Of Christ. After the new birth, devils in the Christians fleshly body still have ties with devils in other peoples fleshly bodies, saved or lost. Technically, there are soul ties between the souls and bodies of unsaved people, and there are fleshly carnal ties between the bodies (not the Christians souls) of Christians and the fleshly bodies of saved and lost people. Descriptively, the name "Soul Tie" is correct only if it is referring to unsaved people. Call them what you will, but they still need to be cut from the Christian. The deliverance ministries have it right with cutting them with prayers, and even though they may call them by the deceptive name "soul ties", it does not matter as these prayers still work at cutting these evil ties from the bodies of the Chistian to any other persons body, saved or lost. The Christian needs to get his flesh "cleaned-up" in order to have fellowship with the Father and earn an Incorruptible Crown. This includes the confession of sins of the past and then the casting out of devils. Severing the "knits", or "ties" with previous wicked relationships is very important. There are "knits" or "Ties" from every fornication (or sexual union when flesh was joined with flesh ( 1 Cor 6:16 )), that the Christian had before being Born Again that should be severed, as the Christians fleshly BODY is a partaker of all the wickedness, filth and corruption of every past "partners" sins of flesh to flesh, including the "partners" family generations and it's entire lineage. The Lord cut all that sin free from our saved Souls, but we still have to deal with those spiritual elements in the fleshly body and the CARNAL MIND that we walk in by confessing these past sins and renouncing all ungodly agreements, covenants and curses (including generational curses), and declaring these "Knits", or "Ties" severed.

Getting saved is for the soul and does not cleanse the flesh of devils, nor does getting saved cut these "ties" that were binding you to another persons fleshly BODY.

Deliverance ministries generally know from much experience that these ties are real and must be CUT.

The Devil wants Christians to use the misnomer of "soul tie", to cause doubt and unbelief in the Christian believing he has a SAVED soul. Even though currently most deliverance ministries do not understand the nature of the New Birth and the nature of the 3 part vessel, and that they use the misnomer name "Soul Tie", prayers for cutting these "knits" or "Ties" still work and are effective regardless what anyone believes about the nature of the vessels 3 part being. After severing these "knits" or "Ties", then any resulting devils may be cast out in Jesus name for freedom in the flesh.

More deception by confusing Old Testament Salvation with New Testament Salvation

Tripartite being deception by confusing Old Testament Salvation with New Testament Salvation

Various Deliverance Ministries, in attempting to define the Tripartite being , make the mistake of using a similitude of the Old Testament Tabernacle , and applying it to the body, soul and spirit of a born again saved New Testament Christian . This similitude involves relating the Outer Court to the body, The Holy Place to the soul, and the Holy of Holies to the spirit.

The Old Testament Tabernacle model does not fit the born again New Testament Christian BUT it does fit the Old Testament Saint that did not have the New Birth, and it also relates to an unsaved person today . However, the New Testament Tabernacle , with the torn veil, was a type of a born again saved New Testament Christian that has had the New Birth! At the time of the New Birth, the operation of God was performed ( Spiritual Circumcision Col 2:11 ) spiritually cutting the sinful flesh from the saved Soul. Additionally, the New Birth was not a deliverance from devils in the flesh, but rather a cutting off of the fleshly body from the saved sanctified soul. Therefore, whatever evil spirits that were in the fleshly body before the New Birth are still there in the fleshly body after the New Birth, but the soul is free of devils. But this Old Testament Tripartite similitude model infers that evil spirits can not only gain access to the Outer Court (the Body) but also to the The Holy Place (Soul). This Old Testament Tabernacle similitude is only true for the Old Testament Saints and the unsaved today - BUT after Jesus rent the Tabernacle veil while on the cross (a picture of Spiritual Circumcision) this New Testament Tabernacle similitude does indeed fit the church age Christian now, as we New Testament Christians today have had the New Birth and evil spirits are confined to the flesh and it's Carnal Mind, and do not enter the Christians' soul (or "The Holy Place"). That is why Jesus gave us deliverance, providing a way for believers (of what God says) to clean up our fleshly bodies by casting out devils, thus giving us temporary relief from the enemy until we get our new redeemed devil-free bodies.

Two correct similitude's , or analogies for a born again Christian's Tripartite being are the football and the ice tray .

Saved people only have sin in them (Christ has their sins on Him), and do not have their souls stuck to their flesh, because saved people experience the New Birth, and are spiritually Circumcised at the very instant they accept Jesus Christ. This operation of God cuts the sinful FLESH free from the saved soul in relation to adoption and salvation, but the FLESH, even now cut free, is still subject to the LAW with it's penalties and curses, and the FLESH still has SIN in it, and where SIN is, there can be evil spirits, and they are in the CARNAL MIND of the Christian. In the FLESH is the CARNAL MIND with a BRAIN that will work against the real Christian "you" (your SOUL), and that is your OLD MAN, which we are to recon "dead" as we mortify the deeds of the body through the SPIRIT (Rom 8:13) "For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. Through the Spirit , using SPOKEN WORDS, we restore our state of fellowship with God when we forgive others and confess our sin unto our Heavenly Father 1st John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness". Being now in fellowship we will proceed as Jesus tells us in John 6:63 "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.". This is why we use spoken WORDS when we do what Jesus tells us when He says in Mark 16:17 "In my name shall they cast out devils". Therefore, the Scriptures tell us exactly what to say when casting out devils as we use Pauls example we speak these WORDS: "I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out" (Acts 16:18) . These devils are driven out of the FLESH (body , brain and CARNAL MIND) of the Christian.

Christians are members of Christ's body, joined to the Lord as the Holy Spirit came and cut (circumcised) the flesh from the soul and spirit. Therefore the Holy spirit does not touch the "unclean thing" as the flesh and soul are separated. We are a 3 part being, a vessel with 3 parts. The blood sacrifice for our sins has been paid for by Jesus Christ's one time sacrifice on the cross. The devils that are in saved people only affect the flesh, not the soul as they are cut apart, but the devils will imitate the soul as they manifest and produce thoughts, feelings and various emotions in order to torment, drive and harass us. Being saved, we may and should cast out devils from our flesh in Jesus name, which has authority over the devils.

Our Soul gets saved, our Spirit gets reborn, and our flesh is dead in Sin

Rom 7:1-4: Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth? For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband. So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man. Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

Heb 4:12 “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart"

The two edged sword "cut", the piercing and the dividing (for the spiritual circumcision) is where the comma is: after the " soul and spirit" , and before "and of the joints and marrow". The "joints and marrow" are clearly not divided from each other, so it's clear and obvious that the "spirit and soul" aren't either. It's right here in plain English. Also, it is sad to note that the fake "bibles" have altered this text, and have blinded many Christians from seeing this essential doctrinal truth.

At the new birth, our spirit and soul are DIVIDED from our flesh (joints and marrow), and our spirit and soul are ADDED to the Holy Spirit (he that is joined to the Lord is one spirit).

Now, this seems obvious to the Bible believer, but there are Christians that are not seeing this truth, and they believe that the cut in Heb 4:12 is between the Spirit and the Soul/Flesh and in this private interpretation these people assume that the devils are in both the flesh and soul, as it was under the law in the Old Testament, and as it is with unsaved people presently.

It is plain to see that Jesse Penn Lewis was deeply influenced by the Revised Version "bible" and the commentators when attempting to understand biblical doctrines, such as the Bible Doctrine of the three part being of man before and after the new birth. The scholars that edited all the various fake "bibles" have messed with bible verses dealing with many Bible doctrines, and by doing so, they destroyed scripture to scripture cross references that God uses to reveal His truths to His children who believes what He says, and yet also to confound and blind these truths to those who do not believe what He says. In the example from Jesse's book up above, it is sad to see that even a minor alteration as presented in the Revised Version reading of Heb 4:12, was enough of a satanic influence to corrupt the beliefs of many Christians. This example shows how the Revised Version reading of Heb 4:12 and the commentators have influenced Jesse Penn Lewis, and how it prevented her from understanding what the real Bible said and comparing scripture with scripture: Col 2:11, Heb 4:12, and the twice married woman in Rom 7:1-4. Examine the book "Spirit And Soul" by Jesse Penn Lewis, page 27, as Jesse quotes Pember and Fausset.

Pember writes "claims for the Word of God, the power of separating, and, as it were, taking to pieces, the whole being of man, spiritual, psychic (soulish), and corporeal, even as the priest flayed and divided limb from limb the animal for the burnt offering...". Permber missed the proper division and just states that all three are divided.

Faucet writes:"The Word of God divides the closely joined parts of man's immaterial being, soul and spirit...". Faucet missed the proper division and mistakenly states the wrong division of soul and spirit, regardless of Col 2:11.

In reading the page from the book above, it is sad that the scholars and the commentators, along with their corrupted fake "bible" - the Revised Version, have assisted in blocking a great saint like Jesse Penn Lewis from understanding this doctrine. In this case, it is the classic Alexandrian error of confusing Old Testament Salvation with New Testament Salvation, and they actually believe that they are the same! They are different. Old Testament Saints did NOT get the new birth, and so were NOT Spiritually Circumcised, so Old Testament Saints had their souls stuck to their bodies. Old Testament Saints did not even go to Heaven at death - Old Testament Saints went to Abraham's Bosom. So, in this case, they falsely believe that the New Testament Saints soul is still stuck to the flesh, as it is with Old Testament Saints.

It is ridiculous to even consider that God would want to DIVIDE our soul from our spirit after He had just JOINED together our soul to the Holy Spirit (Jesus Christ) by marriage at the time of the new birth! Rom 7:1-4. Also, consider the fact that at the time of the new birth the person being saved had a DEAD spirit that needed to be born again, so then why would God divide a dead spirit from a soul when he was going to give life to the spirit? Before being born again the soul wasn't even stuck to the dead spirit, so how can something be divided that was not even stuck together in the first place?!

Consider this: since spirit is likened to wind, or air (John chapter 3), how would God divide a born again quickened spirit from the Christians saved soul? It would be the opposite of inflating air in a tire, so God would have to suck out the air (the spirit) from the soul and create a spiritual vacuum! This is ironically the OPPOSITE of being filled with the spirit!
Even minor edits like deleting the word "asunder", or changing the word "and" to "both", along with believing the alexandrian commentators, have apparently been enough for God to know that Jesse believed these scholars instead of her believing what God actually said in the real Bible, so He blinded her from knowing and understanding the truth about this doctrine. With these quotes it is plain to see what Dr Peter Ruckman has stated, that all the commentators have missed the Biblical doctrine of Spiritual Circumcision. They don't teach it even today in the universities because they don't believe the Book (the King James Bible) so God slams the door of revelation shut for them and blinds their understanding.
Listen to the first 2 1/2 minutes of Dr Ruckmans commentary on Rom 7: 1-4 explaining spiritual circumcision, and how and why the revisers and scholars missed it!
Dr Ruckman - RARE Romans Study #19 Romans 7:3 - 7:20

Col 2:11 "In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: 12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. 13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;"

Devils, or evil spirits, dwell in our flesh, but the Holy Spirit does not (Rom 7:17-18). As Christians we are spiritually circumcised (Col 2:11-13 circumcision without hands) so our spirit and soul is cut loose and free from our flesh (Heb 4:12), and our spirit joins to the Holy Spirit. So when we saved people sin we have sin in us, but not on us, as Jesus took our sins on Him for us.

Examine the 3 Crosses below, and watch the Dr Ruckman video clip below teaching about Sin "IN and ON" us:

Unsaved people trusted in their own righteousness so they have sin in and on them, and the wages of sin is death, so without God's son they go to Hell. With us, being saved, our flesh sins so this is where the "Old Man" - the (d)evil spirits dwell. We "drive them out of the land." Old testament saints did not have the new birth and spiritual circumcision so when their flesh sinned, (Lev 22:4-6) their soul sinned, and the Holy Spirit could not abide in their bodies. This is the same now in this age with the unsaved - when they (their flesh) sin so does their connected soul sin, as they are a PART of their sins, and are called by the name of their sins (1Cor 6:9). We as Christians can certainly commit every sin that is listed in Rev 21:8 and Gal 5:19-21. For example, a Christian (his Soul) is not a Liar, or Murderer, or whatever sin committed in the list - but his FLESH is. When a sin is committed, we confess our sins (1John 1:9) for forgiveness to stay in fellowship with our heavenly Father so He won't have to spank (chastise) with devils, plus we don't as Christians want any unconfessed sin to show up at the Judgement Seat Of Christ. We, being saved, have a live spirit and soul, but our flesh is reckoned dead and crucified with Christ. Being cut free, our soul does not sin, and our spirit is sealed with the Holy Spirit for our eternal security as we will be presented sinless to the Father when we die, as Jesus paid our debt. The part of us that is born of God, the New Man (spirit and soul), does not sin (1John 3:6,9), but the Old Nature, or old Man with his carnal mind in the fleshly body (that is subject to the penalty of the Law) does sin (Rom 7:17-20). After being saved, sin is now charged only to your flesh, and we reap what we sow. So therefore it is a good idea to confess our sins (right after we realize that we sinned against God) to our Heavenly Father in Jesus name and then put to death the deeds of the flesh by throwing the devils out in the name of Jesus.

Two great analogies for understanding our spiritual circumcision in relationship to our 3 part being (body, soul and spirit) are:

1) Football: the outer pigskin represents the fleshly body, the inner tube represents the soul (inner tube has the same shape as the outer pigskin) and the air filled inside represents our spirit. A Saved person has a reborn spirit so it is like a football that is filled with air. An unsaved person is like a flat football - it needs air! An unsaved person is dead in trespasses and sin (since Adams fall he has had a dead spirit), and needs a new birth. As God breathed into Adam, so we need to be born again for our spirit to be quickened alive.

2) Ice Cube Tray: H2o, water represents the Soul and Water, and the tray represents the body. An unsaved person has their body (tray) stuck to their Soul (ice water), while a saved person is like the tray was flexed (circumcised) and the ice cubes broke free of the tray - but they are still in the tray - just not stuck to it! Our Souls are still in our bodies but we are not stuck to them!

Devils (Demons) & The Effect Of Spiritual Circumcision Of Christians

Eternal Security and What We Can Lose

We cannot lose our salvation being a part of the BODY of Jesus Christ (Eph 5:30, 1Cor 12:13), after being sealed into it permanently by the Holy Spirit (Eph 4:30), but there are things we can lose with unconfessed sin, such as our health, peace, finances, family, etc. We may also lose Eternal Rewards at the Judgement Seat Of Christ. Unconfessed sin and un-broken curses opens the door for devils to steal, kill and destroy. These devils can come into our flesh because we have sinned, and quite possibly enter us through frequencies that pass through us as in radio waves (also microwaves - cell phones and towers) and the like. So it is good to throw (cast) them out frequently. Un-confessed sin is an "open door" for devils to enter the flesh. The evil spirits tempt people to sin by being in the brain and talking (putting voices) in peoples heads and tricking the victims to think that they themselves were creating the voice they heard. After the devil succeeds with tempting the person to sin different types of sins, new doors open up for more different types of devils to enter. They hate us because we Christians are reborn in God's image (losing Adam's image) and because of Jesus's sacrifice in place of us they hate us as they are without hope. They have "legal rights" to harass us as we are all sinners when we break God's laws (sin), and because we have sinned and not confessed to God, these devils that torment us don't have to leave until we confess our sins.

Rom 7:20 "Now I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me,"

Rom 7:24 "O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?"

Paul said to the evil spirit: "I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out" (Acts 16:18).

What Are Devils (Demons)?

What are they? They are correctly translated "devils". Demon is a transliteration (not a translation) of the Greek word daemon, and as you can see they refused to correctly translate the word as devil in English, so all they did was drop the "a" letter from the Greek word daemon. The Greeks (Socrates, Plato, etc) believed it was a good thing, a mark of genius, to have a demon, as do those in witchcraft today as they value their "spirit guides". Devil is the translated word as what it means in English, and unlike a demon all (d)evils are evil. There is not one good devil. The bible tells us that they are small (a thousand devils in each of the Maniacs Of Gadara), and they have wings (Beelzebub, Lord Of The Flies). They are certainly not fallen Angels, as devils are much smaller than angels, and angels have the shape of a man. There are false teachings stating that demons are the fallen Angels in Rev 12:9 but that event does not happen yet - that will be in the Great Tribulation after we, Christ's Church, are caught up to Heaven when God calls to us saying "come up hither" in Rev 4:1. Notice how from Rev chapter 4 through to the end of the book that the "church" is gone.

Un-scriptural false teaching: "A Christian can't have a devil because devils can't be in the same body as the the Holy Spirit". We are a 3 part being, a vessel with 3 parts. Not knowing Spiritual Circumcision they hurt themselves by actually not believing that they could have devils, and hence not cast them out, so they will keep getting attacked. Devils (evil spirits) reside in the FLESH of both unsaved and saved people. When a Christian gets saved, the Holy Spirit, by the operation of God (Spiritual Circumcision - Col 2-11), cuts loose (Heb 4:12) his sinful flesh from his saved soul and his reborn spirit.
When the Holy spirit performed this operation made without hands, this sanctification and separation keeps the Holy Spirit and the devils apart, by having the devils confined to only the fleshly body. God allows the devils that we had before the new birth to stay in our fleshly bodies because of Sin, and we all have some Sin in us.
So, the truth is the Holy Spirit does not reside in the Christians fleshly body where the devils are, rather he is joined to our spirit, wed to our soul, and both are cut free from the fleshly body that has the devils in it. The devils ARE separated from the Holy Spirit, as they are in a DIFFERENT Being - the Body (physical flesh) that has the CARNAL MIND, which is separate from the Soul and Spirit that has MIND OF CHRIST. The Soul and the Body overlap and share the same space, but they are not joined. When people believe they are saved, they confuse salvation with works, standing (saved - soul) with state (fleshly body and works). Read below for the Scriptures.

Listed below are 10 scriptures regarding devils in the flesh after the new birth:

Scripture #1

Acts 5:3 "But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?"

... comparing spiritual things with spiritual:

1 John 5:16 "If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it".

Dr Peter Ruckman, General Epistles Vol. 2 (1 - 2 - 3 John, Jude Commentary) (The Bible Believer's Commentary Series) Quote: “There is a sin unto death” could mean that certain sins will lead to your death (as in Rom. 8:13 and 1 Cor. 10:10), or a sin you committed can “ride your back” until you die.“

Since Satan is only one fallen Cherub, without his army of evil spirits, how did Satan manage to "fill the heart" of the believers Ananias and Sapphira? Because of Sin, God allows evil lying spirits (as when God sent out a lying spirit into the mouths of the prophets in 1 Kings 22:20-23 and 2 Chron 18:19 ) to enter into the mouths of those people today who don't believe God and believe what God says. So these evil spirits are allowed by God to enter into the flesh of those unsaved people (Satan's children) who sin, lie and deceive. BUT - God also allows Satan's spirits, the tormentors, to enter into the flesh of His children to punish and chasten them until they are convicted of their sin(s) that they committed. They must "realize" (in today's language) that they sinned. The law then is the "mirror" used by the Christian to judge himself by seeing the Law that he broke. Since the spirit is willing and the flesh is weak, and "to will is present with me", the Christians real "me" - his Saved soul, desires to get right with God and get back into fellowship with his Father (God), so by his will he decides to repent (turn, face God and WALK towards God in the Spirit). God gives us free WILL, we decide, the opposite of Satan and his army of devils, as they seek to CONTROL and enslave. So then next the Christian admits his sins to his Father, by confessing his sins directly to his Father , then God allows him to cast the tormentors (devils) out of his FLESH with the name of the Lord Jesus Christ (Col 2:16 " For by him all things were created ") as Jesus created the devils and has authority over them, and so does his sons (Christians) as being a part of Jesus Christs body.

We are presenting samples here from Dr Ruckmans Commentaries, as all the other commentaries that we have read and examined are all of the same ilk, as they all have the same basic "Alexandrian" themes, dogmas and doctrines, tainted by critical higher education. Every commentary written after 1800 has been a destructive criticism of the King James text, and you will do well to avoid them, where they cross the correct King James text. There may be some exceptions, but if so very few. Textual Criticism involves the scholar (or Pastor) altering the text (ex: "a better reading would be...", "",the original Greek says...", "The Amplified expands on the verse...", or "Let's examine the verse by comparing the ___pick_your_poison___ with the King James"). So, when they (Pastor, Scholar, etc) alters the King James text, then they are a greater authority than the text (Scriptures), in the eyes of their congregation. They become a "middleman" between the Christian and the Holy Spirit, and the scriptures are filtered through these critics of the King James Bible. The Holy Spirit, the author of the scriptures, is the teacher the Christian should have, if he has a love for the truth. If God is believed as with Abraham, God will reveals his truths and mysteries to that Christian. The Scholars besetting sin is his tendency to alter the word of God, then God slams the door of revelation shut in their faces and He doesn't show them anything. As we near the dispensational ending of the Laodycia Church Age, more mysteries are being revealed. God is using the Internet, and GetBlessedForever, for anyone (with the love of the truth) to learn now more than ever before. Behold, the fields are ripe for harvest. Praise be the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Scripture #2

Acts 8:20-24 "But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money. Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God. Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee. For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity. Then answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to the Lord for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me."

Simon the magician believed and was baptized, but had evidently not been delivered from his spiritual occult bondage and Simon was commanded to repent and pray. He was previously a Persian Magician using the black arts , as like various Satanists today, and because of that, he must have been "loaded" with evil spirits. There are no scriptures that even remotely indicate or suggest that our FLESH is delivered at the operation of the New Birth. Quite the contrary, as the flesh is crucified, not delivered. The flesh (the physical body) is cut free like a dead crucified husband while the Christians Soul is married to the Lord Jesus Christ. Any spiritual "thing" that dwelled in the flesh before will still be in the flesh after the New Birth. We are told that after the New Birth that in our flesh dwelleth no good thing. Just imagine what one of these evil "things" would look like. Perhaps a little intelligent creature with wings? Maybe looking something like a house Fly? How about a Black Bird? It's a good thing we can't see into the Spirit world while walking in the flesh! Spiritual things are invisible and eternal. Simon, like many Christians today, had a selfish heart problem. In verse 19 he asks for Apostolic power and authority! This is a transitional period from Acts 2 where the "gift of the Holy Ghost" was given, but here in Acts 8 (because of the events in Acts 7), the signs and wonders from Jerusalem ceased. Regarding Simon, it is likely that the evil spirits that were in Simon, due to all his previous Occult Magic rituals, presented Simon with the idea (thought) to desire to add to the 12 Apostles, and that would have made it 13, as with a witch coven! However, the crafty devils must have known that such a request would be rejected, thus ultimately bringing much shame and sorrow to Simon. Painful for Simon, but this account is here for our learning. So, reading verse 13 Then Simon himself believed also, The scripture saying that he believed also makes it clear that Simon was saved with his fellow half-breed Samaritan countrymen, and did receive the Holy Ghost and hence the New Birth. This indicates that he is in the same spiritual position needing deliverance prayers just as many other Christian have after the New Birth in 1 Corinthians 5:5 (which see below), and Romans 8:13 . The type of prayer is not given, but prayers for freedom from the "gall of bitterness" and the "bond of iniquity" would be appropriate. Asking for prayer to get back in fellowship is an indication he was saved. As with Jeroboam ( 1 Kings 13:6 ) asking for prayer, Simon also asked for prayer. It is hoped that he, as with the fornicator in 1st Cor 5:1-5 , was welcomed backed into the fellowship. Read below a sample commentary page on this passage by Dr Ruckman:

Scripture #3

Acts 10:38 " How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil ; for God was with him."

Here sickness is described as an oppression of the devil .

Scripture #4

Rom 7:14-25 " For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin."

Paul clearly describes the personification of sin in his Carnal Mind, warring against him (his soul, the real "me"), as a person trying to get dominion over him. This person here is a messenger of Satan , an evil spirit , otherwise refered to as a devil. Compare with scripture when God was dealing with Adams son Cain: Gen 4:7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

Scripture #5

I Corinthians 5:1-5 "1 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father’s wife. And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you. For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed, In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh , that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus."

A member of the church in Corinth seems to have been overcome by a spirit of lust, as he was delivered unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, but it is clear that he is saved, regardless of the fumbling with the verses by unbelieving scholars and apostates. We are Bible Believers not egotistical critics that won't accept the literal meaning of these scriptures. Unfortunately, there are some Christians today that reject what the book says as they have not the love of the truth in them but rather unbelief, as they want it "their way", and will "interpret", read into and spiritualize these verses to make a liar out of God (the Scriptures personified). They are stubborn and just WON'T BELIEVE that a Christian's flesh can have devils! Instead of being obedient and WRESTLING ( Eph 6:12 ) with these devils, they would rather WREST ( 2 Peter 3:16 ) the scriptures unto their own destruction. Satan carries out his "destruction of the flesh" by using devils (evil spirits), and Satan also uses devils (that they say they can not have) to blind these unbelieving Christians from seeing the light of this truth. Verse 5 "that the spirit may be saved" is a tricky one. The word SPIRIT in this context refers to the salvation of the mans "human testimony and life", as it is referring to the saving of the mans Christian LIFE,whatever is now left of it. His SOUL is is already saved, as it was saved when the man got the New Birth. The word SPIRIT is used in the same context as in 2 Cron 9:4 . The book says what it means and it means what it says. The Corinth Church were told here to pray for his deliverance unto Satan for destruction of the FLESH here in 1st Corinthians (compare with 1 Timothy 1:20 for an actual case of praying for deliverance "unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh" with Hymenaeus and Alexander), but in 2 Cor 2:5-8 they are told to forgive him, take him back into the Corinth local church, and confirm their love towards him. Read 2 Corinthians 2:9-10, “For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things. To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ; Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.” The sin was a wicked one, but he has paid in his FLESH where sin and devils reside (Romans Chapter 7). For a sample, examine an example from "The Book Of First And Second Corinthians by Dr Peter Ruckman" below: (pages 97 - 104) for a complete commentary on these verses. Read the sample commentary page below where Dr Ruckman states clearly that, as with this man in Corinth, a Christians FLESH can be demon "possessed", but they can't touch his/her saved SOUL. Read below also where the Christian should be saying, (quote) “Get thee hence, Satan. I plead the blood of Jesus Christ. You devil, get out,” .

Scripture #6

II Corinthians 11:4 "4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus , whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit , which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him."

Here Paul reproves the Corinthian Church for receiving another spirit than the Spirit they had previously received.

Scripture #7

II Corinthians 12:7 " And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure."

Paul himself states very clearly that he suffered buffeting from a "messenger of Satan", and Satan's messengers are non-other than evil spirits .

Scripture #8

Galatians 3:1 "O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?"

Paul was inquiring about who had bewitched the believers to draw them away from the truth. The effects, conveyed by false teachers, were the effects of evil spirits imposing their false doctrine through false teachers.

Scripture #9

I Timothy 4:1-2 "1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits , and doctrines of devils;"

Here Paul gives full account of how wicked spirits attack the believer and by deception beguile him away from the faith through the use of false prophets. "This passage begins: "Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils." Deception is being lied to and believing it. Men are not the only beings that lie. Just imagine what type of being would be prone to lying? The Devil, Satan is the father of lies , and his children, the unsaved, also do much lying. However, Satans army - his Principalities, Dominions, Powers (devils) are just like Satan. By nature they lie and deceive . Imagine an evil spirit in a persons mouth and taking over control of what the person says and it is speaking lies. This happens in the flesh with saved and unsaved people here and now, and the scriptures give us an example of that, by telling us how it really happened when God sent down a lying spirit into the MOUTHS of prophets. Read below"

Scripture #10

Read below 1 Kgs 22:20-23 (plus matching scripture 2 Chr 18:19 ) and see how God sent out a lying spirit into the MOUTHS of the prophets:

1 Kings 22:20-23 "And the Lord said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramoth–gilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner. * And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the Lord, and said, I will persuade him. And the Lord said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so. Now therefore, behold, the Lord hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the Lord hath spoken evil concerning thee."
