Matthew 12:28 "But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God , then the kingdom of God is come unto you ."

Page 2 - What Saith the Scriptures?

Listed below are 10 scriptures regarding devils in the flesh after the new birth:

Scripture #1

Acts 5:3 "But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?"

... comparing spiritual things with spiritual:

1 John 5:16 "If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it".

Dr Peter Ruckman, General Epistles Vol. 2 (1 - 2 - 3 John, Jude Commentary) (The Bible Believer's Commentary Series) Quote: “There is a sin unto death” could mean that certain sins will lead to your death (as in Rom. 8:13 and 1 Cor. 10:10), or a sin you committed can “ride your back” until you die.“

Since Satan is only one fallen Cherub, without his army of evil spirits, how did Satan manage to "fill the heart" of the believers Ananias and Sapphira? Because of Sin, God allows evil lying spirits (as when God sent out a lying spirit into the mouths of the prophets in 1 Kings 22:20-23 and 2 Chron 18:19 ) to enter into the mouths of those people today who don't believe God and believe what God says. So these evil spirits are allowed by God to enter into the flesh of those unsaved people (Satan's children) who sin, lie and deceive. BUT - God also allows Satan's spirits, the tormentors, to enter into the flesh of His children to punish and chasten them until they are convicted of their sin(s) that they committed. They must "realize" (in today's language) that they sinned. The law then is the "mirror" used by the Christian to judge himself by seeing the Law that he broke. Since the spirit is willing and the flesh is weak, and "to will is present with me", the Christians real "me" - his Saved soul, desires to get right with God and get back into fellowship with his Father (God), so by his will he decides to repent (turn, face God and WALK towards God in the Spirit). God gives us free WILL, we decide, the opposite of Satan and his army of devils, as they seek to CONTROL and enslave. So then next the Christian admits his sins to his Father, by confessing his sins directly to his Father , then God allows him to cast the tormentors (devils) out of his FLESH with the name of the Lord Jesus Christ (Col 2:16 " For by him all things were created ") as Jesus created the devils and has authority over them, and so does his sons (Christians) as being a part of Jesus Christs body.

As you can see with this example, this book is unlike any other commentary you have ever read, and is worth every cent, as like other Dr Ruckman commentaries.

NOTE:

We are presenting samples here from Dr Ruckmans Commentaries, as all the other commentaries that we have read and examined are all of the same ilk, as they all have the same basic "Alexandrian" themes, dogmas and doctrines, tainted by critical higher education. Every commentary written after 1800 has been a destructive criticism of the King James text, and you will do well to avoid them, where they cross the correct King James text. There may be some exceptions, but if so very few. Textual Criticism involves the scholar (or Pastor) altering the text (ex: "a better reading would be...", "",the original Greek says...", "The Amplified expands on the verse...", or "Let's examine the verse by comparing the ___pick_your_poison___ with the King James"). So, when they (Pastor, Scholar, etc) alters the King James text, then they are a greater authority than the text (Scriptures), in the eyes of their congregation. They become a "middleman" between the Christian and the Holy Spirit, and the scriptures are filtered through these critics of the King James Bible. The Holy Spirit, the author of the scriptures, is the teacher the Christian should have, if he has a love for the truth. If God is believed as with Abraham, God will reveals his truths and mysteries to that Christian. The Scholars besetting sin is his tendency to alter the word of God, then God slams the door of revelation shut in their faces and He doesn't show them anything. As we near the dispensational ending of the Laodycia Church Age, more mysteries are being revealed. God is using the Internet, and GetBlessedForever, for anyone (with the love of the truth) to learn now more than ever before. Behold, the fields are ripe for harvest. Praise be the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Scripture #2

Acts 8:20-24 "But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money. Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God. Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee. For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity. Then answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to the Lord for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me."

Simon the magician believed and was baptized, but had evidently not been delivered from his spiritual occult bondage and Simon was commanded to repent and pray. He was previously a Persian Magician using the black arts , as like various Satanists today, and because of that, he must have been "loaded" with evil spirits. There are no scriptures that even remotely indicate or suggest that our FLESH is delivered at the operation of the New Birth. Quite the contrary, as the flesh is crucified, not delivered. The flesh (the physical body) is cut free like a dead crucified husband while the Christians Soul is married to the Lord Jesus Christ. Any spiritual "thing" that dwelled in the flesh before will still be in the flesh after the New Birth. We are told that after the New Birth that in our flesh dwelleth no good thing. Just imagine what one of these evil "things" would look like. Perhaps a little intelligent creature with wings? Maybe looking something like a house Fly? How about a Black Bird? It's a good thing we can't see into the Spirit world while walking in the flesh! Spiritual things are invisible and eternal. Simon, like many Christians today, had a selfish heart problem. In verse 19 he asks for Apostolic power and authority! This is a transitional period from Acts 2 where the "gift of the Holy Ghost" was given, but here in Acts 8 (because of the events in Acts 7), the signs and wonders from Jerusalem ceased. Regarding Simon, it is likely that the evil spirits that were in Simon, due to all his previous Occult Magic rituals, presented Simon with the idea (thought) to desire to add to the 12 Apostles, and that would have made it 13, as with a witch coven! However, the crafty devils must have known that such a request would be rejected, thus ultimately bringing much shame and sorrow to Simon. Painful for Simon, but this account is here for our learning. So, reading verse 13 Then Simon himself believed also, The scripture saying that he believed also makes it clear that Simon was saved with his fellow half-breed Samaritan countrymen, and did receive the Holy Ghost and hence the New Birth. This indicates that he is in the same spiritual position needing deliverance prayers just as many other Christian have after the New Birth in 1 Corinthians 5:5 (which see below), and Romans 8:13 . The type of prayer is not given, but prayers for freedom from the "gall of bitterness" and the "bond of iniquity" would be appropriate. Asking for prayer to get back in fellowship is an indication he was saved. As with Jeroboam ( 1 Kings 13:6 ) asking for prayer, Simon also asked for prayer. It is hoped that he, as with the fornicator in 1st Cor 5:1-5 , was welcomed backed into the fellowship. Read below a sample commentary page on this passage by Dr Ruckman:

Scripture #3

Acts 10:38 " How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil ; for God was with him."

Here sickness is described as an oppression of the devil .

Scripture #4

Rom 7:14-25 " For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin."

Paul clearly describes the personification of sin in his Carnal Mind, warring against him (his soul, the real "me"), as a person trying to get dominion over him. This person here is a messenger of Satan , an evil spirit , otherwise refered to as a devil. Compare with scripture when God was dealing with Adams son Cain: Gen 4:7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

Scripture #5

I Corinthians 5:1-5 "1 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father’s wife. And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you. For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed, In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh , that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus."

A member of the church in Corinth seems to have been overcome by a spirit of lust, as he was delivered unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, but it is clear that he is saved, regardless of the fumbling with the verses by unbelieving scholars and apostates. We are Bible Believers not egotistical critics that won't accept the literal meaning of these scriptures. Unfortunately, there are some Christians today that reject what the book says as they have not the love of the truth in them but rather unbelief, as they want it "their way", and will "interpret", read into and spiritualize these verses to make a liar out of God (the Scriptures personified). They are stubborn and just WON'T BELIEVE that a Christian's flesh can have devils! Instead of being obedient and WRESTLING ( Eph 6:12 ) with these devils, they would rather WREST ( 2 Peter 3:16 ) the scriptures unto their own destruction. Satan carries out his "destruction of the flesh" by using devils (evil spirits), and Satan also uses devils (that they say they can not have) to blind these unbelieving Christians from seeing the light of this truth. Verse 5 "that the spirit may be saved" is a tricky one. The word SPIRIT in this context refers to the salvation of the mans "human testimony and life", as it is referring to the saving of the mans Christian LIFE,whatever is now left of it. His SOUL is is already saved, as it was saved when the man got the New Birth. The word SPIRIT is used in the same context as in 2 Cron 9:4 . The book says what it means and it means what it says. The Corinth Church were told here to pray for his deliverance unto Satan for destruction of the FLESH here in 1st Corinthians (compare with 1 Timothy 1:20 for an actual case of praying for deliverance "unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh" with Hymenaeus and Alexander), but in 2 Cor 2:5-8 they are told to forgive him, take him back into the Corinth local church, and confirm their love towards him. Read 2 Corinthians 2:9-10, “For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things. To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ; Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.” The sin was a wicked one, but he has paid in his FLESH where sin and devils reside (Romans Chapter 7). For a sample, examine an example from "The Book Of First And Second Corinthians by Dr Peter Ruckman" below: (pages 97 - 104) for a complete commentary on these verses. Read the sample commentary page below where Dr Ruckman states clearly that, as with this man in Corinth, a Christians FLESH can be demon "possessed", but they can't touch his/her saved SOUL. Read below also where the Christian should be saying, (quote) “Get thee hence, Satan. I plead the blood of Jesus Christ. You devil, get out,” .

Scripture #6

II Corinthians 11:4 "4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus , whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit , which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him."

Here Paul reproves the Corinthian Church for receiving another spirit than the Spirit they had previously received.

Scripture #7

II Corinthians 12:7 " And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure."

Paul himself states very clearly that he suffered buffeting from a "messenger of Satan", and Satan's messengers are non-other than evil spirits .

Scripture #8

Galatians 3:1 "O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?"

Paul was inquiring about who had bewitched the believers to draw them away from the truth. The effects, conveyed by false teachers, were the effects of evil spirits imposing their false doctrine through false teachers.

Scripture #9

I Timothy 4:1-2 "1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits , and doctrines of devils;"

Here Paul gives full account of how wicked spirits attack the believer and by deception beguile him away from the faith through the use of false prophets. "This passage begins: "Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils." Deception is being lied to and believing it. Men are not the only beings that lie. Just imagine what type of being would be prone to lying? The Devil, Satan is the father of lies , and his children, the unsaved, also do much lying. However, Satans army - his Principalities, Dominions, Powers (devils) are just like Satan. By nature they lie and deceive . Imagine an evil spirit in a persons mouth and taking over control of what the person says and it is speaking lies. This happens in the flesh with saved and unsaved people here and now, and the scriptures give us an example of that, by telling us how it really happened when God sent down a lying spirit into the MOUTHS of prophets. Read below"

Scripture #10

Read below 1 Kgs 22:20-23 (plus matching scripture 2 Chr 18:19 ) and see how God sent out a lying spirit into the MOUTHS of the prophets:

1 Kings 22:20-23 "And the Lord said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramoth–gilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner. * And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the Lord, and said, I will persuade him. And the Lord said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so. Now therefore, behold, the Lord hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the Lord hath spoken evil concerning thee."
