Bible Doctrines Affected By Modern Versions
Bible Doctrines Affected By Modern Versions - Paul L. Freeman
Bible Doctrine Of Spiritual Circumcision Affected By Modern Versions - "RV" Revised Version, and Jesse Penn Lewis:
It is plain to see that Jesse Penn Lewis was deeply influenced by the Revised Version "bible" and the commentators when attempting to understand biblical doctrines, such as the
Bible Doctrine of the three part being of man
before and after the new birth.
The scholars that edited all the various fake "bibles" have messed with bible verses dealing with many Bible doctrines, and by doing so, they destroyed scripture to scripture cross references that God uses
to reveal His truths to His children who believes what He says, and yet also to confound and blind these truths to those who do not believe what He says. In the example from Jesse's book up above, it is sad to see that even a minor alteration
as presented in the Revised Version reading of Heb 4:12, was enough of a satanic influence to corrupt the beliefs of many Christians.
This example shows how the Revised Version reading of Heb 4:12 and the commentators have influenced Jesse Penn Lewis, and how it prevented her from understanding what the real Bible said
and comparing scripture with scripture:
Col 2:11, Heb 4:12, and the twice married woman in Rom 7:1-4.
Examine the book "Spirit And Soul" by Jesse Penn Lewis, page 27, as Jesse quotes Pember and Fausset.
Pember writes "claims for the Word of God, the power of separating, and, as it were, taking to pieces, the whole being of man, spiritual, psychic (soulish), and corporeal,
even as the priest flayed and divided limb from limb the animal for the burnt offering...". Permber missed the proper division and just states that all three are divided.
Faucet writes:"The Word of God divides the closely joined parts of man's immaterial being, soul and spirit...". Faucet missed the proper division and mistakenly states the wrong division of soul and spirit,
regardless of Col 2:11.
In reading the page from the book above, it is sad that the scholars and the commentators, along with their corrupted fake "bible" - the Revised Version, have assisted in blocking a great saint like
Jesse Penn Lewis from understanding this doctrine. In this case, it is the classic Alexandrian error of confusing Old Testament Salvation with New Testament Salvation, and they actually believe that they are the same!
They are different. Old Testament Saints did NOT get the new birth, and so were NOT Spiritually Circumcised, so Old Testament Saints had their souls stuck to their bodies.
Old Testament Saints did not even go to Heaven at death -
Old Testament Saints went to Abraham's Bosom. So, in this case, they falsely believe that the New Testament Saints soul is still stuck to the flesh, as it is with Old Testament Saints.
It is ridiculous to even consider that God would want to DIVIDE our soul from our spirit after He had just JOINED together our soul to the Holy Spirit (Jesus Christ) by marriage
at the time of the new birth! Rom 7:1-4. Also, consider the fact that at the time of the new birth the person being saved had a DEAD spirit that needed to be born again, so then why would God divide a dead spirit
from a soul when he was going to give life to the spirit?
Before being born again the soul wasn't even stuck to the dead spirit, so how can something be divided that was not even stuck together in the first place?!
Consider this: since spirit is likened to wind, or air (John chapter 3), how would God divide a born again quickened spirit from the Christians saved soul? It would be the opposite of inflating air in a tire, so God would have to suck out the air
(the spirit) from the soul and create a spiritual vacuum! This is ironically the OPPOSITE of being filled with the spirit!
Even minor edits like deleting the word "asunder", or changing the word "and" to "both", along with believing the alexandrian commentators, have apparently been enough for God to know that Jesse believed these scholars
instead of her believing what God actually said in the real Bible, so He blinded her from knowing and understanding the truth about this doctrine.
With these quotes it is plain to see what Dr Peter Ruckman has stated, that all the commentators have missed the Biblical doctrine of Spiritual Circumcision.
They don't teach it even today in the universities because they don't believe the Book (the King James Bible) so God slams the door of revelation shut for them and blinds their understanding.
Listen to the first 2 1/2 minutes of Dr Ruckmans commentary on Rom 7: 1-4 explaining spiritual circumcision, and how and why the revisers and scholars missed it!
Dr Ruckman - RARE Romans Study #19 Romans 7:3 - 7:20
Heb 4:12
“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword,
piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit,
and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart"
Rom 7:1-4:
"Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?
For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.
So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress,
though she be married to another man.
Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another,
even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God."
